Are sweatpants really the pinnacle of comfort? We’re not convinced.
The idea that comfort and elegance can’t coexist is one of the strangest fashion myths of our time.

For centuries, people relaxed, read, entertained guests, and enjoyed their evenings in garments designed specifically for comfort and leisure. Then somehow we settled for t-shirts, sweatpants and hoodies.

So we thought it was time to properly introduce ourselves.

We are Baturina Homewear, a small family-owned atelier based in Hamburg, Germany. Our team consists of four women who design, cut, sew, photograph, pack, and ship every order with great care and attention to detail.

For more than a decade, we have specialized in vintage-inspired robes, pajamas, smoking jackets, and homewear. Every piece is made individually, with options for custom sizing, embroidery, personalization, and bespoke adjustments.

Our style draws inspiration from classic menswear, historic dressing gowns, British tailoring, and the idea that what you wear at home deserves just as much thought as what you wear outside.

We produce in small quantities, work with carefully selected fabrics, and make many pieces only after they are ordered. No mass production, no warehouses full of stock, just craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Over the years, we have had the privilege of serving customers from all over the world and have collected hundreds of reviews, photos, stories, and kind messages that continue to inspire us every day.
