The Ruby Art × PatchLab collection continues with one of the most recognizable symbols of Japanese culture — the Crane.

Standing quietly beneath the deep red sun, surrounded by falling blossoms and reflected water, Ruby Art’s crane creates a completely different atmosphere from our previous releases: calm, elegant and almost meditative.

In Japanese culture, the crane — Tsuru (鶴) — has long been associated with longevity, good fortune, loyalty and peace.

The original Ruby Art illustration has been carefully translated into a fully woven 3 × 4 inch patch, allowing the fine feather details, reflections and subtle elements of the artwork to remain visible in thread.

We’re back.

After Sushi Cat, Kitsune, Red Panda and Koi completed our first × PatchLab season, it’s time to open the next chapter. Rubyart and me sat together and picked 4 new wonderful designs from her.

RAMEN SHIBA INU is the first of four new releases in Season Two — and tomorrow our EARLY IN begins across the different time zones, Facebook groups and social channels.

As before, you’ll have several opportunities to secure one before the official release.

To Join simply post those two 🍜🐕 below the post and we will determine 12 Winners Tuesday morning

Ein weiterer Meilenstein auf unserem gemeinsamen Weg. Die Übergabe meines eigenen Patches bedeutet mir sehr viel und ist das Ergebnis einer starken Zusammenarbeit.

Ich freue mich auf alles, was noch vor uns liegt – es warten viele spannende Projekte und Ideen. Seid gespannt. 👊

Endlich ist es soweit.
Heute hole ich die ersten „Ausbilder Kudela“ Patches ab. Ein Projekt, in dem viel Herzblut, Zeit und Leidenschaft steckt.
