بعدَ فترة وجيزة من ولادة الطفل، يُوضَع مشبكان على الحبل السري، ويُقطع الحبل بينهما.تجري إزالة المشبك من على جدعة الحبل في غضون 24 ساعة من بعد الولادة.ينبغي الحفاظ على نظافة وجفاف جُدعة الحبل السرّي
وتسقط الجَّدعة من تلقاء نفسها في غضون أسبوعٍ أو أسبوعين.
كيف اتعامل مع سرة المولود الجديد؟
1:امسحى منطقة السرة برفق وتخلصى من أي بقايا رطوبة بها وذلك باستخدام قطنة صغيرة . 2: قد ينصح الطبيب باستخدام الكحول المناسب لتعقيم وتطهير السرة وذلك باستخدام القطنة أيضا. (.لم يعد الأطباء في أمريكا يُوصون بتطبيق الكحول أو غيره من المحاليل المُطهرة على الجَّدعة)
3:حاولى أن تتركى الهواء يدخل للسرة حتى تجف وتلتئم وتقع في أسرع وقت.
4:حاولي منع الحفاضات من الاحتكاك حتى لا تؤثر على منطقة السرة عند طفلك.
Shortly after the baby is born, two clips are placed on the umbilical cord, and the cord is cut between them. The clamp is removed from the cord stump within 24 hours after birth. The umbilical cord stump should be kept clean and dry
The stump falls off on its own within a week or two.
How do I deal with the navel of a newborn baby?
1: Gently wipe the navel area and get rid of any remaining moisture using a small cotton ball.
2: The doctor may advise using appropriate alcohol to sterilize and disinfect the navel, using cotton as well. (Doctors in the United States no longer recommend applying alcohol or other antiseptic solutions to the stump.)
3: Try to let the air enter the navel so that it dries, heals and falls as soon as possible.
4: Try to prevent the diapers from rubbing so as not to affect your child's navel area.
