It was Paul Zemmo
ur, our current Chairman and Managing Director, who created the Sergent Major brand in 1987. The name Sergent Major comes from the pen nibs that were used in classrooms a long time ago, back in the days of slates and penholders, and it shows how strongly our brand is linked to the essential values of childhood, the main one among them being respect for children and their growth and development over the years.
