We proudly present mountaineer Anni Penttilä as part of the Likel team.

We are excited to welcome Anni back home soon from Nepal, where she successfully summited two more 8000-meter peaks, Makalu and Kanchenjunga. Congratulations! She has now climbed 7 of the world’s 14 highest mountains. The journey continues, and we are so proud of you 😍!

United States national team nordic combined professional athlete Niklas is a dual citizen of the United States and Finland with Finnish roots and hard work personality with blink on his eye. He is united by the sport traditions and values of both countries, such as hard work, perseverance and the pursuit of peak performance. Niklas has absorbing the richh cultures and sporting traditions of both countries and hard working nature . Olympic debut Niklas made at Milano/Cortina winter olympics 2026 and qualified nordic combined World Cup season 25/26 at his personal best 23th place.

Representing Finland on the international stage, becoming a true crowd favorite. They have a special ability to skate their way into the audience’s hearts, creating moments that feel both powerful and fun. Their performances combine technical precision with emotional depth, captivating audiences and judges alike. With each season, they continue to develop their unique style and contribute to the evolution of Finnish ice dance.

Welcome to the team 🤩🤌🏻

Pihla Matikainen is a 6-time Finnish Judo champion and an European Cup medalist. She represents the Maskun Tempo Judo Club in Turku and the Finnish National Team. She is also part of the “Judo Top Team” in Finland which includes judo athletes aiming for the Los Angeles Summer Olympics in 2028. Pihla is known in her sport for her determination and resilience, and off the judo mat she is a grounded and positive person. She believes constant self-development and persistence are important attributes in both life and in sports.

Onur Alakas is an international sports professional with a specialization in sales, lectures and coaching. He is known for thinking outside of the box and finding innovative solutions. He values Passion, Honesty and Authenticity and is on a mission to raise Finnish sports to a higher, more professional level. His personal experience as an athlete includes Finnish baseball, ice hockey, track and field, and fencing. He also brings over a decade of coaching experience for teams and individuals - most recently in ringette, developing young athletes to find their potential. As a manager, his expertise is helping athletes to build a brand and create long-term relationships with their partners. Onur holds an International Business Degree, a Specialist Vocational Qualification in Coaching (VEAT) and a certification from Sport Management World Wide (SMWW). He is a board member of the Finnish Sport Managers association.

Let us introduce you to our new Head of Legal! 👩🏾‍⚖️📝
Rasheka Scott, a seasoned Jamaican-Finnish lawyer, is Likel’s Head of Legal. She is experienced in commercial contracts, marketing and brand protection, and has worked in private practice for over 17 years as an intellectual property lawyer. At Likel, Rasheka provides the legal framework and support athletes and managers today need to excel, be it partnership contracts or negotiating NIL deals. She takes a pedagogical approach to helping athletes understand their rights and make legally sound decisions. As a lawyer and a sports manager, Rasheka is known as easily approachable, authentic and creative. An avid basketball player and former athlete herself, Rasheka is truly passionate about sports and understands sports mentality. Her mission is to help more Finnish athletes especially kids from disadvantaged backgrounds envision global careers.

Rasheka enjoys mentoring young people and served on the UNICEF Finland Board for 6 years. She speaks English, Finnish, French and Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys playing basketball, floorball, tennis and football.

Artur is a conscientious, hardworking, family-oriented and down-to-earth young promising Finnish National Top Team judoka (clubteam Tikkurilan Judokat), from which come a tenacious, determined and unyielding fighter on the mat. Artur is a motivated and committed example in everyday life and judo court and he is rapidly making a breakthrough towards the international level of Judo, examples of which include the first European and World Championships for adults in 2025. The main goal for upcoming years is the summer olympics 2028.
