VALO was born out of passion for discovery, globetrotting, and inspiration of cultures, reflecting

the freedom of expression and statements of individuality. Our tribe for urban nomad spirits was established by two best friends from Finland as a result of years of traveling and exploring the different parts of the world, being inspired by countless colors, shapes, styles, cultures and places…All this sparking an untamable desire to create something unique in contrast to the standard and ordinary...To bring more light to the world! We want our actions and lifestyle to inspire an unconditional environment for people to realise their full potential in life with courage! Everything we create springs from our personal experiences in our travels, festivals, parties, and everyday life…We are inspired by uniqueness and comfort and that is what VALO represents. All our designs are high quality handwork made in Bali, of durable, natural materials. We are beach boys and girls, nature lovers, party goers, explorers, adventurers by heart, feeling at home in remote islands as much as in buzzing urban environment…There you have it - We are Urban Nomads! Festivals have always been a big part of our lives and we believe they are a special and important place for us humans to experience profound joy, freedom and truly ecstatic moments! It’s mind baffling how many companies there still are making and selling people synthetic plastic made clothes…And it is equally shocking how many people still choose to buy and wear them!

Plastic is not meant to be worn on your skin - It is simply Not Good For You.

When you choose to buy and wear natural fabrics like linen, cotton, bamboo, tencel, you know you’re making a better choice for yourself and the planet.

Most modern mass produced clothing is made of plastic. Polyester, nylon, acrylic - all these are derived from petroleum, all treated with chemicals you’ve never heard of: BPA, phthalates, PFAS, formaldehyde.

These are endocrine disruptors, and they don’t just sit politely on the fabric, they leach into your skin through sweat, heat and friction. Studies have detected microplastics from synthetic clothing in human blood, lungs, and even…placenta! 😱
