My First Etsy Bride 🤍

I found this vintage lace at an antique market in Florence last year…
and yesterday it became a custom Juliet cap veil for my very first Etsy bride in the US 🤍✨

There’s something so special about seeing a material you’ve held onto find its perfect purpose. Carefully hand-dyed, shaped, and finished with mitred corners—every detail considered.

Two unforgettable weeks in Paris 🪡✨

Today I finished my final class at École Lesage, and as I’m sitting on the train home, I can’t help but wish I could relive every moment again.

For years I dreamed of coming here to properly learn the techniques of haute couture embroidery, and these past weeks exceeded everything I imagined. I loved every minute — from long days at the embroidery frame to evenings practicing my stitches and finishing my homework.

And when I wasn’t in class, Paris treated me incredibly well. Beautiful sunshine, inspiring fashion exhibitions, and hours spent wandering through my favourite fabric shops searching for lace, beads and sequins. Every moment felt creatively energising.

I’m leaving Paris feeling inspired, grateful, and even more excited to bring these techniques into my bridal work.

The only comforting thought right now?
I know I’ll be back soon for my second course.

À bientôt, Paris. 🤍

There’s nothing to lose — only skills to gain 🪡

So many of you have told me how this is your dream and that you are living it through me.

I say go out there, find someone to teach you, invest in the school, watch those youtube videos, buy the books and try! There is nothing to loose, after all, its only embroidery!

There are moments thats change the entire course of your life!

In 2020, my friend Candela asked me to make her wedding dress.
Without hesitation, I said yes.

I didn’t know how yet — but I knew I would figure it out.

That one “yes” changed everything.
It led me here.

Sometimes all it takes is courage before certainty. 🤍

My couture details — in honor of Haute Couture Week in Paris

A celebration of the artistry behind embellishment — the details that take time, patience, and devotion to craft.

From thousands of sequins embroidered one by one using the Lunéville hook, to delicate Chantilly lace appliqué, hand-beaded veils, and free-motion embroidery — each piece was created slowly and intentionally for my brides.

✨ Hannah’s gown — over 10,000 sequins embroidered by hand with the Lunéville hook
✨ Anna’s dress — Chantilly lace appliquéd by hand and machine
✨ Jennifer’s cape — hand-appliquéd with couture precision
✨ The Flora mini veil — fully hand embroidered and beaded using multiple couture techniques
✨ Allison’s veil — free-motion machine embroidery with hand-applied sequins

Haute couture isn’t about excess — it’s about craftsmanship, emotion, and honoring the hands behind the work.

This love for couture embellishment is at the heart of what I offer my brides — and this year I’m dreaming of continuing to learn and refine these techniques at École Lesage in Paris

Which detail speaks to you most?

A wedding cape years in the making 🤍

Jennifer first reached out to me three years ago, dreaming of something custom by me.
Life happened, plans paused — and then in 2024, it was finally time to start again.

Together we created a bespoke bridal cape with soft sleeves, a hood, and hand-appliquéd floral lace, designed as a veil alternative and made entirely for her. From our first emails to fittings filled with laughter, this piece became one of the most meaningful projects of my year.

Seeing Jennifer wear it for her ceremony in Provence was truly unforgettable ✨

Swipe to discover the details — and read the full story on my website in the Journal.
