Some people cross your path long before they become part of your story.

Years ago, Catherine was one of our clients. I remember looking up to her, even back then, admiring her eye for beautiful interiors, timeless elegance and genuine craftsmanship.

Today, it is with great pride that we welcome Catherine as our ambassador for Belgium.

With her experience, creativity and passion for interiors, she will help guide Belgian clients through the LF Fabrics collections, finding the perfect textiles for every project.

For me, this feels like a full-circle moment. Having someone I have admired for so many years believe in and support our collections means more than words can express.

Welcome to the LF Fabrics family, Catherine. We are incredibly happy to have you by our side. 🤍

Craftsmanship MadeInBelgium

A legacy woven into every metre of linen.

Long before LF Fabrics existed, there was LF Selection.

The LF stands for Lievens Filip, my father, who built a remarkable reputation creating made-to-measure sofas. Together with my mother, he founded a company where craftsmanship, quality and trust were never just promises—they were a way of life.

In 2013, that dedication was recognised with the prestigious title of Purveyor to the Royal Household of Belgium.

When I took over the company, one thing was never up for discussion: the name.

Because LF is much more than two letters. It is a tribute to my parents, to everything they built, and to the values they passed on to me.

In 2021, I had the honour of continuing that legacy ❤️

Today, our focus has evolved from bespoke furniture to Belgian linen and textiles, but our philosophy hasn’t changed.

We still believe that exceptional products begin with exceptional craftsmanship.
We still believe in long-term relationships.
And we still believe that family values are the strongest foundation a company can have.

Thank you, Mum and Dad, for giving me the opportunity to continue your story while writing my own.

🤍

Fabric is never truly still.

It comes to life when someone touches it.
When light falls across it.
When it moves.

Watching our colourful linen dance through the streets of Paris reminded us why we do what we do.

Every colour.
Every fold.
Every movement carried the work of the people who grow the flax, weave the fabric and carefully finish every metre.

As we enjoy a short summer break, we’re looking back with gratitude.
For the opportunities.
For the collaborations.
For every person who believes, just like we do, that authenticity will always remain timeless.

See you again soon.

Some collections are presented.
Others are experienced.

In Paris, we wanted people to stop for just a moment.
To look up.
To smile.
To feel.

Our dancers moved through the streets wearing garments created from our own zero-waste linen aprons. Pieces that were never designed to become costumes, yet perfectly reflected what LF Fabrics believes in: creating beauty without waste.

As the linen caught the wind, the colours came alive.
For a few minutes, the streets became our runway.

Looking back this summer, we’re grateful for everyone who stopped, watched and became part of that story.

One of the most beautiful things about travelling is meeting people who share the same values.

During Design RDV in Porto, we had the pleasure of connecting with inspiring designers and decorators who believe, just like we do, that true luxury starts with authenticity, craftsmanship and respect for materials.

Our linen grows in Belgium and Northern France. So whenever possible, why not keep the journey short? Supporting local craftsmanship and a short supply chain isn’t about looking back—it’s about building a more thoughtful future together.

Thank you, Porto, for the warm welcome, the inspiring conversations and the beautiful collaborations yet to come.

There are places that don’t just inspire you.
They become part of who you are.

Sintra was one of those places.

As we continue our Year of the Horse, we found ourselves surrounded by breathtaking landscapes where nature, history and elegance exist in perfect harmony. It felt as if every path, every ray of light and every movement of the horses belonged there.

What makes this journey even more special is what we brought home.

Not just photographs, but timeless pieces of art, beautifully captured by Selina De Maeyer , while Germana Everaert preserved every authentic behind-the-scenes moment that often tells the most beautiful story of all.

And then there is the dress.

Designed especially for this project, crafted from fabrics of our newest collection, it moved with the wind almost as if it had always belonged to this landscape. A reminder that linen isn’t simply woven—it comes to life through the hands, the places and the people who give it meaning.

This is why we create.

Not to follow trends, but to tell stories that will still feel timeless many years from now.

Thank you, Sintra, for becoming part of ours.

During our summer break, it’s always nice to slow down, catch our breath and look back with gratitude at the moments that made this first half of the year so special.

One of those highlights was our participation in Portugal with .rdv

As a small, independent company, we consciously choose to grow in a thoughtful and sustainable way. We don’t need to be everywhere. Instead, we focus on building genuine relationships, taking one meaningful step at a time. Looking back, we’re incredibly grateful for the inspiring projects, warm conversations and wonderful people we had the chance to meet.

Together with Germana Everaert who beautifully captured the behind-the-scenes moments, we met talented interior designers and decorators who share our love for pure Belgian linen, a short supply chain, natural materials and timeless colours.

One of our favourite details? The photographs filled with hands touching the fabrics, comparing textures and colours, and the beautiful creative chaos on the table. It was the perfect reflection of what we love most: seeing our textiles become part of real projects, real ideas and genuine conversations.

These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do.

Thank you, Portugal. 🇵🇹

Just like flax after harvest, some things benefit from a little time, patience and pause.

At LF Fabrics, linen is at the heart of so much we do — and perhaps that is why this season always feels meaningful to us. Summer is not only a moment of sunshine and family time, but also the season in which flax returns to the fields, beginning one of the quietest and most essential parts of its journey.

In that same spirit, LF Fabrics will take a short summer pause from 1 until 13 July — a moment to slow down, recharge, gather inspiration and return with fresh energy for the months ahead.

☀️ Summer closure: 1–13 July 2026
📦 Last shipping day: 30 June
📦 First shipping day after our break: 14 July

During this period, our warehouse will be fully closed and no goods can be dispatched, collected or received.

Thank you for your trust, your patience and your continued support.
We look forward to welcoming you back very soon.

Warmly,
Michèle
