🌑 It's the eclipse of the century! Tomorrow (August 12) around 8 p.m., the moon will pass in front of the sun in Europe. Total darkness will fall across northern Spain for several minutes. If you're in the Balearic Islands (or in Bilbao or Valencia), you're in for a treat!

🌊 Fondation Tara Océan x Macon&Lesquoy - Heading for the Arctic!
On 19 July, Tara Polar Station set sail from Lorient, its home port, to embark on its very first scientific expedition to the Arctic: Tara Polaris I (2026–2027).

Next stops before the ship becomes trapped in the sea ice of the Central Arctic Ocean:
A technical stopover in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands and then, Norway, to welcome the first overwintering team of 12 people who embark for 9 months before the first crew shift.

👉 Macon&Lesquoy is committed to donating €1 to the Tara Ocean Foundation for every brooch from the collab sold through its online shop and boutiques.

🇫🇷 Tara Polar Station a quitté le 19 juillet Lorient, son port d'attache, pour entamer sa toute première expédition scientifique en Arctique : Tara Polaris I (2026-2027).

Prochaines étapes avant la prise en glace dans l’océan Arctique central :
Escale technique à Rotterdam, aux Pays-Bas puis en Norvège, pour accueillir le premier équipage de 12 personnes qui part pour 9 mois avant la première relève.

👉 Macon&Lesquoy s’engage à reverser 1€ à la Fondation Tara Océan pour chaque broche de la collab vendue dans son réseau (eshop, boutique et revendeurs).

À nos débuts, par respect pour la longue tradition de la broderie de cannetille, dite aussi Broderie d'Or et d'Argent, nous restions fidèles à ses deux teintes d'origine. Une palette sobre, presque sacrée. Mais ça, c'était avant. Les couleurs sont aujourd'hui au cœur de l'identité M&L.
