LEMAIRE’s collection of olfactory objects foregrounds artisanal processes and sculptural forms.

The scented ceramic Pomme, created in collaboration with the estate of Annie Fourmanoir, extends the artist’s tactile language into the olfactory realm.

Crafted in chamotte clay, it releases Cardamome Terre, a fresh, spicy fragrance with warm woody notes, evoking the comfort of a kitchen.

LEMAIRE has collaborated with the estate of French ceramicist and sculptor Annie Fourmanoir to create two scent objects.

Initially trained in languages and ethnology, Fourmanoir’s career spanned over 50 years, during which she developed a distinctive artistic language using objects and vessels to explore the tension between form, texture, and glaze.

Pomme and Emboîtage, Fourmanoir’s original works, have been reinterpreted by LEMAIRE in raw clay as olfactory objects.

Aesthetic and functional, they diffuse fragrance and occupy the home as tactile, sculptural objects.
