Three years ago I opened a boutique and had no idea if anyone would care. Today I know the answer.
Three years ago today, I opened a boutique from France — built around Peru, its hands, its colors, and everything I believe beautiful things can mean.
I didn't know exactly what I was doing. I just knew it mattered.
Since then: real customers who became part of this story. Artisans whose work now reaches Europe, the US, and beyond. Pieces made slowly, carried with intention. And more than a few lessons I didn't expect.
Three years of Peruvian craftsmanship, ethical luxury, and the quiet conviction that handmade things deserve a place in a fast world.
Thank you. For buying, for sharing, for following, for believing — sometimes before I fully did myself.

These photographs were taken in Pueblo Libre, Lima, sometime in the early 1980s — long before I had any idea what shape my life would take.
I grew up surrounded by an enormous, protective family. Aunts, uncles, cousins, my mother and my father always close by. Peru wasn't something I had to search for back then. It was simply home.
Years later, I left — to build a new life, and eventually a family of my own, in France. I studied Chemistry. For a long time, my days had nothing to do with textiles, artisans, or Andean color.
But somewhere along the way, a quieter need started to grow: to reconnect with where I came from. Not to go back — but to bring Peru with me.
That need became Zia's Beauties.
On August 21st, we turn three. Three years of building a bridge between the country that raised me and the life I chose in France — made possible by the artisans who trust us with their craft, and by every one of you who has believed in this story along the way.
I never planned this. I just followed what felt true.
