Here's a little on what makes up our 'sunset' shade:

Madder

(Rubia tinctoria)

The plant belongs to the same family as coffee beans. Madder roots have been used for 5000+ years, and goods dyed with it can be traced back to the Middle Ages.

It dyes from light peaches to deep reds.

It’s a real dream come true to be able to share the final natural dyed colour palette, styles and transparent pricing with you. I’ll be making each piece to order in-house.

I’ve put months of work and love and care into this little brand of mine. It’s been a real passion project and pleasure to work on!

This limited capsule collection is versatile and empowering. Graceful and wonderous. I wrote in my vision statement ‘I want for my customer to understand where an item has come from. For my clothing to uplift any woman who wears it, embodying mother nature in her entirety.’

That's right, it's all mother nature! Grown from soil and will return to soil.

The VENUS blouse is composed of 68% h**p, 32% silk, mother of pearl buttons, organic cotton thread and natural dye (or undyed). Nothing less nothing more.

Unlike petroleum-derived polyester, nylon, acrylic, or any other nasty synthetics that will likely end up in a landfill heap. Catharsis garments are made to last, in consideration of minimal impact.
