Forget me not, Bicester

Wow! What a packed few weeks we've had. We've played games, completed puzzles in the paper, and had a go at curling, thanks to Troy at Generation Games.

We listened and danced along to beautiful music and songs from Jackie and Donna. 🎶 🎵

Thanks to Gail and Susan, we celebrated Wimbledon with cream scones. Yum!!

We had a visit from a very friendly dog called Lulu. Pets as Therapy is an organisation that have trained volunteers to take their dogs or other pets to care homes or day centres, etc.
This certainly created an opportunity to have some lovely interactions! 🐕

We celebrated ladies day at Forget-me-nots on Thursday this week. What a wonderful array of hats!

We had fun with horse racing before lunch and then music from Reggae Ray in the afternoon.
A good time was had by all 👒

It's been a little while since we shared what we've been up to so here are some of the highlights from May and the start of June.

As well as celebrating big birthdays, we've had our usual activities going on, including playing dominoes, crafty creations on the art table, manicures, reading books and magazines, playing Skyjo, and playing lucky squares and doing puzzles.

We also had a go at a new game called Boccia, which was great fun.

We've listened to music, sang and danced. Thank you to John Nelson for his song selection - some good foot tapping tunes!

Join our staff and volunteers this Friday on bicester market where we'll be on the community stall with a tombola full of fantastic prizes!! The businesses in the town, our volunteers and individual supporters have been extremely generous.

Wow, it was such a pleasure to spend time with Callum on Thursday, where he presented us with a lovely cheque for £1,301. He ran the Manchester marathon in aid of Forget-me-nots, Bicester, so we can provide our clients with lots of extras, like musical entertainment, craft supplies and other luxuries!

Well done Callum, what an achievement!!
