Christmas can be heavy for some families.
When your child does not understand the day, does not feel the build up, the excitement, the sparkle people talk about. No lists. No countdown. No magic in the way the world expects it to look.
And that can hurt.
Today might feel quieter. Different. Maybe even lonely. But in our home, and in many homes like ours, something else exists. A bond built through relentless love, protection, patience, and showing up again and again.
We are each other’s greatest gifts.
Not wrapped. Not bought. Not measured by smiles or photos. Measured by trust, safety, and the unbreakable connection that only comes from walking this path together.
To every parent, carer, and family navigating a different kind of Christmas, you are seen. You are not doing it wrong. You are doing it with courage.
