Some designs you can easily achieve from your A~Line Skirt Block
With just a few adaptations to this block, you can make an array of different styles. You can keep it shorter, lengthen it and add some lovely details such as set-in pockets, pleats, zip, faux pocket flaps or even some epaulettes.

The A~Line Skirt Block is a fantastic starting point for pattern cutting. Just think about designing your own wardrobe, and this is such a practical place to start. Our size chart reflects modern day sizing, so you shouldn’t need much tweaking to adapt your A~Line Skirt Block to create your own designs.

Just have a look at some of these different styles you could create from one simple block – the possibilities really are endless. All the styles we’ve shown are totally achievable from the A~Line Skirt Block. With just a few adaptations, you can create an array of different styles and really start designing your own wardrobe.
