Picnics are about the only time I debate taking a pram… but the prospect of dragging it along the beach was the final decider!

Don’t fall into the trap of choosing something because an influencer or even a friend has recommended it.

Every body is different - make sure you try things before committing!

There are so many different carriers out there and high street stores show just a fraction of what’s available.

(My local Smyths for example sells 3 versions of the same carrier and one other option- but all three are harness style carriers that tend not to fit very well).

Sling libraries are a great place to try carriers out. Get recommendations, get 1-2-1 support, join a workshop or simply hire something to try at home.

Knowing what will work for you is very tricky until you give something a try. And what works for one person won’t necessarily work for another.

The mini monkey baby carrier is one of many carriers that you could try at your local sling library a place to get advice and support to find what works for you!

And it’s a fab option if your someone who is struggling with doing up buckles on your carrier as it has handy magnets to help clip it in easily.

Time for you planned in for next week? Time to talk to other mums? To be creative without the clean up? To learn some mindful drawing/painting or to create your own thing.

Moordown community centre ( ) Monday 24th 10am-12 midday

Start your week with a chat and some cake while you create.

I’ll bring spare carriers that you can use if needed, or little ones can sleep in their pram or play with the toys.

I’ll help keep them busy too!

All distractible children welcome - colouring is provided too.
