Everything starts with an idea on paper. Sometimes it's hard to put your designs down on paper and relay your ideas to other people. Especially if you don't have a lot of experience with drawing.
This is my fairy tale of the Little Matchgirl.

The Little Matchgirl story takes place in a hard Russian winter, and it follows a young girl who relies only on the sale of matches to get by. All of her matches are used in this manner later on in order to make her happy. In the icy streets of Russia, a Little Matchgirl is attempting to sell matches. Unfortunately, not even a police officer who helps her down from a lamp post will buy them from her. With her box of matches on her lap, the small girl cuddles up in a corner after a day of no luck. She is compelled to use one of her matches to remain warm as the wind gets harder. While lighting a match, she begins to fantasize that the flame is a large stove by which she may keep her fingers warm. However, the battle is over in a matter of minutes, and she returns to the icy alley. And so, she takes another match and lights it, but this time she imagines a candle on top of an overflowing table full of fruit, meat and bread, and so she continues on. The flame extinguishes just as she reaches out for a nice piece, prompting her stomach to churn. Once again, the match girl lights off yet another match, but this time a horse-drawn sleigh will convey her to her grandmother's house. The match girl uses the last of her matches to carry on the heart warming thought as the flame fades out.
In her final vision She sees a Christmas tree decked with presents, ornaments, and candles in another room. Every candle is lit with her matchstick and she sees her grandma who picks her up. The image fades to black when the match is extinguished, since the girl had perished in the freezing night. The ghost of the match girl's grandma, on the other hand, appears to her and is overjoyed to see her. The match girl's spirit is picked up by the grandma as she takes her into the afterlife.

This is the story about The Starfish and the Little Boy.
The tide had swept hundreds of starfish ashore one morning, and an elderly man was strolling down the beach in the early morning when he discovered them. A youngster in the distance seemed to be picking up the starfish and throwing them back out to sea one by one. Because it looked like a waste of time to him, he approached the youngster and inquired as to why. According to the youngster, "If these starfish are left out here like this, they will roast in the sun and be dead by this afternoon." The elderly guy answered with a longing glance, "However, there must be miles and miles of beach and millions of starfish to go around. You can't save them all at once. Throwing a few back isn't going to make much of a difference."
While holding up his starfish in his palm, the child said, "It's going to make a huge impact! Think back to a moment when you made a difference. It's starting now.

This picture reminds me of being on a Safari In Kenya in the 90's, the Giraffe's were definitely the tallest and the most graceful, it reminded me of when i was 7 years old and we had English and had to write a story about a wild animal. Handing my work in to my teacher I received the best piece of advice I have ever received. It was written on my story. A few spelling and grammatical errors but 'never give up'. That's the same advice I give to my 3 daughters today. This advice was given to me by my English teacher Mrs Hinchcliffe I was 7 years old. I was so happy. My English teacher was so strict, she never gave praise at all, so to receive it was fantastic. Whatโ€™s the best advice YOUโ€™VE ever been given?

Every morning when I go for a stroll with my dogs, this gorgeous cow (a boy) comes galloping up to say hello. I believe he enjoys seeing Aslan, my 10-month-old Golden Retriever. He's incredibly gentle despite the fact that he presumably weights a lot. Yes, it includes my Aslan, who is already 40kg but very light on his feet. They seem to have a connection.๐Ÿฅฐ Nature at it's best.

At the Expo in Paris, these were some of the exciting creations of fabric. This is called Bark Cloth. This comes from parts of Africa, Farmers collect the various very fibrous barks, of Fiscus Natalensis. The farmers crush them work them and flatten them to obtain true textiles of non woven materials. This process uses low energy and partly CO-2 emission free. It felt rough but it was spectacular to look at and feel.
