Road testing the future of clothing that calms.

We’ve spent the last couple of years exploring how what you wear can do more than just look or feel good. And the last 8 months helped by the U.K. Government to bring them to life.

What if clothing could actually help your body find calm?

This is one of the new CALMR designs I’m road testing — built around the body, sensory regulation and the idea that clothing can actively support an overloaded nervous system.

It’s not quite ready yet. But it’s getting close.

A small email. A big milestone.

I’m delighted to share that CALMR Ltd has been accepted onto the Innovate UK Business Growth programme.

We have been helped by many of the names connected to and referenced in the image above - but there are so many more.

For any startup, it’s encouraging when experienced innovation specialists look at what you’re building and say, “Yes, we think this has the potential to grow.”

Over the coming months we’ll be working with Innovate UK’s Business Growth team on:
• Innovation strategy and IP
• Investment readiness and finance
• International expansion
• Commercial growth and scaling

For us, this isn’t just about growing a business.

It’s about accelerating a mission.

Every day we hear from people who tell us our products help them feel calmer, more regulated and more able to cope with the demands of modern life. That reinforces our belief that designing products which support the nervous system has an important place in healthcare, education, sport, workplaces and everyday life.

We’ve still got a huge amount to learn, but we’re excited to be supported by people who have helped many of the UK’s most innovative businesses scale.

As .burnham starts as Prime Minister we have a real opportunity for change.

I want to open up the conversation of how we support self care for the nervous systems of people across Great Britain.
