✨ The first thing I’ve made since moving into my new shop studio.

I’m still figuring out the space (and where everything lives!), but it’s slowly coming together. Adding a fan has definitely made sewing through this heat much more bearable! Here’s to making more time for creating, experimenting, and getting back behind the sewing machine. 🥂

This waistcoat is now available in the shop.

I drafted the pattern myself, taking inspiration from a beautiful 1970s waistcoat I own. I’ve kept that vintage shape but added a few tweaks of my own, including front and back darts for a more flattering fit.

I’m wondering... would anyone be interested if I turned this into a downloadable PDF sewing pattern for Etsy? I’d love to know if that’s something you’d make. Let me know in the comments! 💛

I’d planned to spend today sewing away in the back room, but it’s honestly like an oven back there! I’ve been on the hunt for a fan, but everywhere seems to be sold out. 😅

So, as uploading to the website involves a lot less moving around, I’ll be spending today adding some beautiful new pieces to the online shop that I’ve been meaning to list for ages.

First up are these gorgeous lime green **Emporio Armani** silk trousers. 💚 They’re the perfect zesty pop of colour for summer and beautifully lightweight for days like today.

One week in... 🧡✨

What a week it’s been!

From unlocking the door each morning to meeting so many lovely people, stitching away in the Embroidery Parlour, filling the rails with vintage treasures and seeing people leave with something they love... it’s already been everything I hoped it would be.

I’m so proud of how far the shop has come in such a short space of time. There are still plenty of jobs on the never-ending to-do list (my workspace definitely needs some love!), and I’m still figuring out the best way to fit my sewing machines, fabric stash and overlocker into the back room... but it’ll all come together.

Thank you to everyone who’s popped in, shared a post, bought something, or simply wished me luck. It genuinely means the world.

Tomorrow I’ll be restocking the rails with even more vintage and designer treasures, so if you’ve been meaning to visit, now’s the perfect excuse!

A slower Sunday... 💛

The shop may be closed today, but my sketchbook is never far away. Here’s a little glimpse of some embroidery designs I’ve been working on recently.

After our first week of opening, a day to rest feels very much deserved! Thank you to everyone who popped in, supported the shop and made it such a special start.
