We made something for your next night time existential crises…

At Yes Friends, collectively we’ve experienced some bad nights.

One of us rocked up to a music festival, to discover they’d bought a kid’s size sleeping bag 🥶

Back when one of us worked a corporate job, filling in spreadsheets over silly long hours, the team would compete to see who could take the longest nap on the loo 🚽

Another time, we were staying on the island of Lefkas, where semi-wild cats approach your patio table every time you try to eat so much as a cube of feta.

And when night time comes, those cats screech and scrap over the territorial-right to approach your table.

Whatever the night holds. We figured you might as well be dressed well when they happen. So here’s two new sets of pyjamas for you.

Today, we’re releasing a new graphic T-shirt collection. But first, let us tell you about a tradition that should be in every country.

The caffè sospeso translates as a ‘pending’ coffee. And it’s a tradition that goes back to mid-20th century Naples.

How it works is pretty simple: If someone is feeling happy, they buy two coffees, but only drink one.

This leaves a ‘pending’ coffee. Then someone else, perhaps a little down on their luck, might arrive later and ask if a caffè sospeso has been paid for. If it has, they are served coffee for free.

It’s an anonymous act of kindness and solidarity.

And you could say it’s part of La Vita Generosa...

Arriving in four styles and printed onto colours like Amalfi Blue, La Vita Generosa is our newest collection of graphic T-shirts.

It's a little celebration of Italian generosity with sardines and sun emblems that look right at home in a Sicilian town, where the stonework and faded signs look like they haven’t changed since 1966.

It’s the kind of place where hustle doesn’t really exist. Just plenty of olives and sardines. La Vita Generosa or The Generous Life, is a simple motto we believe will transform the fashion industry. As simple as buying a caffè sospeso on a sunny day in Naples.

Today we’re releasing what many of you were crying out for in our survey a couple of weeks ago (we think one of you might have actually been crying).

We’re here to stem your tears – releasing three kinds of soon-to-be-your-favourite shorts: relaxed linen, relaxed twill and tailored linen. All cut & sewn by garment workers paid good wages in a solar assisted factory.

As a mysterious reviewer known as S. told us, “Super cool, super comfy, so light and soft…. WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT!?”

Today marks a big day for Yes Friends, we’re launching five new dresses. You read that right – five(!). It feels like we've come a long way since our first black and white tees, five years ago.

Not only are we re-releasing last year’s Linen EcoVero™️ dress, now in French Blue and Black (we’ve not touched the shape because you loved it)...

And not only a little black dress, known as the “LBD” in some circles, the kind of circles that Audrey Hepburn would have winked at in 1961 while giving her little black dress a little swish…

But also…

An organic cotton, seersucker, pattern dress in two colours.

While we’re not a haircare brand, this dress has the kind of voluminous, milky smooth style that Pantene Pro V. can only dream about.

All five releases can be dressed up or down. All have pockets. And all are cut & sewn by garment workers paid good wages.

Hey friends, this is a quick note, to let you know that our little team of 6 is about to become a team of 7. We're hiring a Marketing Manager. We've never had one before, so this is big for us. Behind the scenes, we've just completed a mammoth 3 day summer photoshoot (and now need to pick our faves out of 9,000 photos...), are about to visit our factory in India, launched new canvas jackets and are in the middle of moving warehouses.
