Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Ego Vice. Amidst the chaos that has been the last couple of years we want to do our part in making the world a better place. With the worlds focus on Covid-19, other key and important issues have been halted. Namely climate change as well as our human impact of the animal kingdom. That’s why we have decided to create a new line of products…. Creature Habits

This new line will be made using only recycled or environmentally friendly garments. The designs on each garment will represent a promise made by us that a % of each sale will go to a charity of the creature represented.

We have partnered with:
• ‘Butterfly Conservation’ for our ‘Wings of change’ collection
• ‘Marine Conservation Society’ for our ‘Sea creatures’ collection.
• ‘Bumblebee Conservation Trust’ for our ‘Bee-Kind’ collection.
• ‘Cool Earth’ for our ‘Amazon Rainforest’ collection.
• ‘Avon Wildlife Trust’ for our ‘River Avon’ collection.

This Remembrance Day we honour the armed forces members who have died in the line of duty.

We remember all those that have served and sacrificed, with British and Commonwealth soldiers, sailors, airmen and women represented, together with members of the emergency services and civilians, ensuring that no-one is forgotten.

To honour this day here is a poppy badge created and embroidered by us.

INTERNATIONAL OCTOPUS DAY celebrates one of the earth’s oldest creatures. The animal is best known for its eight legs and ink-squirting abilities. However, there is so much more to know about this fantastic creature.

To celebrate the day, here is a badge we designed and some fun facts to go along with it:

🐙They have 500 million neurons in their brains and arms
🐙There is a rare type of octopus has tentacles that glow in the dark
🐙The largest octopus on record weighed 156 pounds
🐙Their mantle changes colour so that it blends into its surroundings
🐙An octopus can swim nearly 25 miles per hour for short distances
🐙The female octopus lays up to 400,000 eggs
🐙Large octopus only live up to 5 years

It’s National♻️🚮 🌱. Recycle Week is Recycle Now’s flagship annual event which is a celebration of recycling across the nation. Now in its 18th year, it’s the one week of the year where retailers, brands, waste management companies, trade associations, governments and the media come together to achieve one goal: to galvanise the public into recycling more of the right things, more often.

This Recycle week we want to promote the recycled and eco- friendly garments we have on offer at Urban Identity and Ego Vice. Doing are part for the environment one garment at a time…… Just like this 100% Recycled Polyester beanie.

🦏🦏🎉Happy World Rhino Day🎉🦏🦏

This day aims to make people more aware about rhinos and conserve what is left of these wonderful creatures. Every year on September 22nd, the world honours the five species of rhinos. The five rhino species are Black, White, Greater One-horned, Sumatran, and Javan.

Humans’ desire for rhinoceros’ unique horns has driven all five of the world’s different rhinoceros’ species to the brink of extinction. The horns are in high demand due to their therapeutic qualities.
The IUCN lists the one-horned rhino, also known as the Indian rhinoceros, as a vulnerable species. The animal is primarily found in the Himalayan foothills — India and Nepal.
