Knowing when to stop....

Another non-Snug make. Originally I was going to make a couple for friends, but these turned out to be such a challenge that I said "Never again" to myself.

Inspired by the another needle case, I thought I could do something similar for myself. 4 broken needles later and I have a new found appreciation for the work that goes making one.

The next show for needle snugs.

Only a month to go until 😱 This will be the last show of the year for us - we will have our range of self striping yarns (including a limited number of our Christmas special, ‘O Tannenbaum’), plus our super squishy ‘Launceston’ in lace weight and dk, our ‘Ashby’ DK and 4ply, lovely Eucalan Wool wash and our rainbow of needle snugs 🙂

Occasionally I do make things that are not snugs.

I have recently discovered how much I love using Derwent's Inktense pencils on fabric. I've used Liquitex's fabric medium to "set" the colour.

This is recent commission and a practice piece that made the grade. Though subsequent dogs didn't. I find dogs quite a difficult subject to draw.

There maybe more posts about Inktense in the future. I've ordered some new black pens to try out on fabric.
