As a sling library we are always interested in what carriers are being marketed to people.

It’s a whole thing that some companies invest hugely on marketing while many other small independent businesses spend very little to no money on it.

We see waves of different carriers coming into the library, and it’s often to do with big marketing campaigns.

We would love to hear which carriers you’ve seen recently. Maybe through direct adverts, in shops or being used by people in the public eye or on tv?

Lovely morning at Market Drayton Library Free Fit Checks this morning! 🙂

Great to pair up with the Oswestry Community Action infant feeding team as well!

We’ve seen 3 families for carrier support today, and 2 of them left with babies sleeping in carriers which is always a good sign! 😂

When big companies reduce the usability and effective lifespan of their products, it does feel like a money grab, especially when their marketing budget is big enough to drown out all the other options available.

How do we as a sling library and independent baby carrying consultants say sustainable, ethical and accessible faced with this issue?

A super fast video of Kate putting on the Mamaruga Zebulo, forgetting where she put the demo doll, and forgetting to loosen the buckles before she put it on. and yes she forgot on the first strap, adjusted that one, then immedatly forgot on the second strap 🤣😅🙈 we will blame a combination of ADHD, perimenopause and the unrelenting heat.

We really love Mamaruga , the Zensling is one of the most popular carriers in our libray, and the Zebulo is a bit like its big brother. not stretchy, very adjustable so fits lots of people and lots of babies, and super comfy!

This one was requested as a postal hire before we had even added it to the website, so thought we would get a couple of photos and a quick video before it goes on its first adventure!

Hello!

Some more of our ramblings and a Mamaruga Zebulo in a gorgeous chocolate leopard print 🐆

We are clearing out some of the older carriers in our library and restocking it with brands and carriers that are currently available on the market 🙂

We love the Zebulo, it’s a really adjustable carrier, so we find it easy to get a good fit for a lot of people.

This will be going up for hire on our website but hasn’t been listed yet because LIFE.

This is our new space btw! We are beyond excited about it, it’s still a work in progress and we will show it off a bit when it’s done ☺️
