Our original intention coming to Venice was to see the craft exhibition Homo Faber which if anyone coming to Venice this month must go.
BUT , the real jewel of this weekend is the astonishing exhibition “The Only True Protest Is Beauty” at the Palazzo Pisani Moretta. This exhibition has been beautifully curated by Dries Van Norton. A exploration of tranquility as a site of potential darkness. My series of photographs here are concentrating on the genius and language between and COMME des GARÇONS . This has got to be one of the most beautiful exhibitions put on in a long time with immense sensitivity, intellect, lighting and integrity.

For those not interested in fashion, the photography, ceramics, glass and sculpture are as important, thought provoking and a feast to the eyes.

It’s incredible that the plants have survived temperatures over the last few months of 38 plus here at the bottom of the Atlas Mountains and hopefully we will have a second crop in the next coming month .
