Calling all young cosplayers in Gloucestershire! 🪡✨

We’re so excited to be hosting Gloucestershire Cosplay, a brand new free monthly group for 13 to 18 year olds.

Whether you’re sewing your very first costume, learning foam armour, styling wigs or you’ve already got a wardrobe full of cosplays, everyone’s welcome. It’s a chance to meet other local cosplayers, work on projects together and plan convention meet-ups.

The first session is on Saturday 10th October, and then every second Saturday of the month after that.

It’s completely free, but please sign up via the Instagram form or send them an email beforehand so they know you’re coming.

We can’t wait to see this community grow. 💙

So… this wasn’t exactly in the business plan.

We’ve had loads of local food vendors asking if we’d ever run a food market. We laughed… and then somehow found ourselves organising one. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Apparently running a craft shop, workshops, a monthly craft market and a charity wasn’t keeping us busy enough.

Applications are now open for our September and October food markets at Normandy House!

If you make incredible food, coffee, cakes, cheese, sauces, sweet treats or anything else people can’t resist buying “just one more” of, we’d love to hear from you.

If ever there was a time to blow our own trumpet, I think this is it.

I’m so proud of what me, Zarina and Sam have built.

It’s been far from straightforward. Between all of our chronic illnesses, Zarina somehow fitting this around a full time job travelling around Europe, and Sam working another job because the bills still need paying, it’s taken a lot to get here.

We haven’t had endless time, endless money or endless energy. We’ve just kept showing up.

Then I looked at this…

That’s 110 people who have taken time out of their day to support three besties trying to build something a bit different.

We still have so much we want to do, and some days it feels like we’re making it up as we go, but today we’re letting ourselves be proud.
