I have had what it seems like a pretty long day. I have loads of family admin to do and usually have to fight the urge to scroll on my phone. But this evening I thought I'd make a little sketch for fun and use these promt cards as they are always useful when I don't want to think too much. I had to pick up my daughter early from school, so I took the opportunity to sketch these lovely daffodils while she watched some television.

I think I'm slowly learning to utilise small pockets of time for me time. Something I'm not always great at, but what made this happen was the fact that I left a small pencilcase and sketchbook on our bookshelf for quick and easy access. Result! 😃

Yesterday was so sunny in London. And today is so cloudy and rainy. Here is a little reel of me sketching outdoors yesterday to brighten your day.

I love listening to the birds when I'm outside sketching. It lifts my mood to hear them. And that definitely helps to inform the colours I choose to use. Happydays 😃
