All of them are different, all with individual purpose. Some are for paper, silk, bridal, teaching.
Some from my training and university days, some I’ve been lucky enough to have been gifted along the way.

My favourites? Two very old Sheffield-made shears, once used by my great-great aunt, a tailor and still sharp today ✂️

One of my most technical commissions to date!
My client came to me over the summer with this exquisite silk she’d bought in Sri Lanka 25 years ago and as soon I as saw it I immediately wanted to work with it !! 4 weeks later and the dress was fully finished!
Everything from design, pattern cutting and construction was completed in the studio !!

This was such a special commission - to make a christening dress for my clients first grandchild using their own wedding dress, and their mother’s.
The dress includes elements of both dresses, the family’s initials and a hand made bib for Agnes on the day✨
