Having just shared a story about the difference using real photographers make for your work, I am sharing some images taken with my phone! Awkward..!
This lace has been on the backburner for some years. I love the mixture of elements, inspired as it is by some art nouveau designs in the .
This is a lacelet. Should I list it for sale or is it too big? It’s currently 50mm across which is pretty wide for my lace. It’s 200mm long but can button tighter on smaller wrists.

Thank you to Ian for his time explaining how the lace jacquard are punched and then how they work on the Leavers machine! I didn’t realise I was saying yep, yeah, yes so often!
It was a brilliant 90 minutes sorry for getting you to talk so much.. I won’t share the six minutes one talking about the intricacies of the figure sheet and the punching mechanism. I’m saving that for

Remember the denim embroidered collar I shared a week or so back? Well he’s almost finished… just got the rest of the text picot to apply.
I decided to bind the raw edge of the neckline with lace, a length of deadstock leavers lace donated to by Paul Smith. I’ve used it like a binding along the neckline and also as a carrier for the text. I’ll share photos of that process later.
I’m happy with the result, just got the last collar to do. Any ideas what that one might be? I’ve probably already mentioned it, can’t remember!
