🍊 Oranges, Valencia & My First Contrast in Spain 🍊

Valencia, the land of sun, sea, and oranges. But my first taste of Spain wasn’t just about citrus—it was about contrast.

It was 1982, I woke up in my new home, only to find my bed surrounded by curious white faces. Eyes wide, staring, at the first Black person they had ever seen. In that moment, I realized that life is a fusion of contrasts—new vs. familiar, tradition vs. change, seen vs. unseen.

Much like the orange, brought to Spain centuries ago, blending into its culture yet remaining distinct.

Diversity shapes us. It challenges, surprises, and enriches us.

This month is being so intense and at the same time is bringing both, myself and the business to a very reflexive path.

Understanding the journey in the personal and in the professional, Aligning with my past self, embracing my present self and preparing to receive my future self is now more intentional.

Certainly, each step has been worthy of given for my personal growth, knowing myself better and understanding how people perceive me, the products and the brand, It is all part of it.

Today in a special way, I thank God for it all. And for you… just be ready for the next. Exciting times ahead.
