Something a little different from me this time.

An 80cm tall horse head sculpture made from gathered roots and twigs, shaped using the natural movement and flow of the pieces.

This was a commission for a lovely lady in the USA and will be heading to its new home in Maine in the next few days.

I don’t know what it is about these, but I honestly can’t seem to make them fast enough for people. 🤍

These heart wreaths are made from silver birch, with the little mini catkins still intact, and each one ends up slightly different depending on the branches. They’re simple, natural, and very much of the hedgerow.

This one went up today and was gone almost straight away. I’ll be making more as quickly as I can.

Time for something a little different.

This lampshade is made slowly and by hand, using real partridge feathers layered one by one to create a soft, natural, feathered surface. The feathers are arranged in overlapping rows so the pattern flows around the shade and the light stays warm and gentle when it’s switched on.

Each one takes time. The feathers are all slightly different, and that’s exactly what gives the finished shade its character. No two will ever be identical.

It’s designed to sit on a standard table lamp or be used as a pendant, and it works beautifully in both modern and more traditional interiors. It’s not meant to be perfect or uniform. It’s meant to look natural, tactile, and quietly special.

I’ve just added this fresh catkin wreath to my Etsy shop and I’m a bit in love with it 🌿

It’s made on a natural willow base with real seasonal catkins and a few guinea fowl feather details for texture. I wanted it to feel really simple, natural, and properly “country” rather than overdone.

As always, it’s a one-off because the materials are all natural, so once it’s gone, it’s gone.
