How is it Wednesday evening? I have my final Wild Ivy Markets this Saturday in Johnstone Town Hall (well for 2026 anyway!). Again, another new market for me and I’m really looking forward to it.

I had planned a a number of things to accomplish this week and I think I’m mentally still on Monday 😁 - It’s definitely the time of year where you start meeting yourself coming back 😉.

Creativity bracelets - all completely different but all made the same way. My favourite thing to make and always the most satisfying….and often surprising!

Handmade chains are made slowly and methodically, there are no short cuts. They are also very wearable and timeless

Which do you prefer? Chunky or fine?Irregular or regular shapes? Shiny and hammered or smooth and satin? The choices are endless - but never to be repeated in exactly the same way 🤍🤍

Some pieces that were definitely catching your eye last weekend…..I wonder what it will be this weekend? I’ll be , The Gamble Halls, Gourock on Saturday from 11-4. Another new market for me and I’m looking forward to it so much 🖤

Around five and a half years ago, I introduced these two chunky hearts. I now consider them classic Unique Keepers designs and love them as much as ever. Solid, weighty and so very tactile🤍.

Two years ago I was playing around with my own (last pic) and got a wee bit carried away setting a few stones for fun!

While I think the hearts are perfect on their own, I feel like there is always room for extra sparkle so will be offering this as an option next week on my website.

In the meantime, I’ll have these single stone hearts Wild Ivy this weekend (pink stone in the large heart and clear in the small).

My first time in Largs Wild Ivy and I can’t wait!

I do love my ever changing, beautiful views and they are a perfect backdrop for a lot of photos I post when I’m working at the bench. But we all know this is not normal life, that often I’m facing another parked vehicle or the weather has closed in that there is no view at all (aka my summer!).

So a bit of reality 🩷 The last two pics are my workspace and view today! I’ve a few messy jobs to do so my makeshift work bench is a ladder in a garage, between an old van and a few sacks of coal. I’m all wrapped up in layers of clothes, have glasses AND optivisor on so I can see what I’m doing and a gorgeous mask to keep me safe 😇.

I would like to point out that my nails, the duck tape keeping my kit together, mask and scarf all match perfectly 🩷. Totally unplanned but not surprising 💅🏻! This was a few hours ago and my nails have about 50% less polish on now - making jewellery is so glamorous!! 🩷💕🩷

Some shells are all about impact and making a statement and some are just so wee and cute 🤍. I love them equally (of course!) all but these tinies are some of my smallest yet.

I found two teeny scallops (approx 15mm) on Skye recently and have chosen this one because of the detail. When I was in Gairloch recently I found so many Striped Venus shells including this mini one (about 10mm) and I knew it would be perfect!

I’ve planned a busy wee schedule for Autumn into Winter and will be travelling N, S, E and W to be part of so many new and exiting events ….I may even have a couple more dates to squeeze in 👀 Watch this space!
