If you're in a toxic relationship or marriage where you're being beaten, abused or living in constant fear

LEAVE.

There is no award for suffering.
There is no trophy for enduring abuse.
Your life is worth more than people's opinions.
The same people you're staying for will move on if anything happens to you.

Protect yourself.
Seek help.
Choose life.

Love should never cost you your safety.

For everyday English, estate fit mean housing estate.
But for law, Estate means a person's property, assets and everything they own especially the things they leave behind when they die.

So when you hear:
"The deceased's estate is being administered."
No be say the person get one big estate for Lekki.

Na the person's money, land, houses and other property dem dey talk about.

Good morning! ❤️❤️

I hope you still have your plans in place.

Don't let distractions, delays or discouragement make you abandon the goals you set for yourself.

There's still plenty of time to make progress.

One step at a time.

Have a productive day and as always,

Avoid avoidable wahala.

As a tenant, before you move a single bag into your new apartment, take photographs and videos of the condition of the property.

Document every crack, stain, faulty fitting and existing damage.

Because when it's time to move out, you don't want to be paying for problems that were already there before you arrived.

A few pictures today can save you plenty of stories that touch tomorrow.

Avoid avoidable wahala.

“Barr. Tee, can I be arrested because my friend sent money into my account?"

Short answer is ;
Yes. It is possible.

If the money is linked to fraud, kidnapping, money laundering or any other criminal activity, investigators may invite, question or even arrest the person whose account received the money.

Does that automatically make you guilty?

No,it doesn’t , but it does mean you may have some explaining to do.

The questions will be:

📌 Why was the money sent to your account?

📌 What was the purpose of the transaction?

📌 Did you know where the money came from?

📌 Did anything about the transaction look suspicious?

This is why you should be very careful about allowing people to use your account for transactions you do not understand.

"Na my friend" is not a legal defence.

And "I didn't ask questions" is not always enough.

Your bank account is not a public utility.

Know what is entering it and why.

Avoid avoidable wahala.

NO LAW IN NIGERIA?
Some of you are absolutely convinced that there is no law in Nigeria.

I won't argue with you, but let me say this:
The law in Nigeria is a lot like electricity, some days, you think it doesn't exist.
Until you touch the wire.

Then suddenly, it becomes very real.
So, try as much as possible not to find yourself on the wrong side of the law.

Not because I said so.

But because the day you do and I sincerely pray that day never comes you will discover very quickly that the law is very much alive.

It simply doesn't announce itself until it has to.

And by then, the time to pay attention may have passed.

Stay on the right side of the law.✌️ ✌️

Avoid avoidable wahala.
