Charlie brought his handmade vintage Wayfarers into us because he loved the frames but wanted to update his prescription and the style.

We fitted them with new lenses and we think they have really brought these frames back to life.

THE SUN IS HAVING A FITTING.

On Wednesday 12 August, the Moon will slip rather dramatically in front of the Sun—giving the UK its deepest partial solar eclipse since 1999.

Here in Durham:

◐ Eclipse begins: 6.11pm
◐ Maximum eclipse: 7.07pm
◐ Eclipse ends: 8.01pm

Now for the important optical detail…

Your sunglasses—however dark, expensive or exceptionally well chosen—are not suitable for looking directly at the Sun.

To watch safely, use genuine eclipse viewers conforming to ISO 12312-2 from a reputable supplier. They can be worn over your prescription glasses. Never look through binoculars, cameras or telescopes unless they have a correctly fitted specialist solar filter.

From designing t-shirts to selling sunglasses…there’s no stopping Dylan!

After the success of our Woven x DYLAN’S T-SHIRT CLUB workshops, Dylan decided to give life on the shop floor a go and he didn’t do too badly!

They might be the experts when it comes to men’s tailoring, clothing and footwear but this time it was their turn to learn!

We welcomed the Woven Menswear & Suits team to Woven Eyewear for a behind-the-scenes introduction to the world of eyewear. From frame styling and lens options to finding the perfect fit, they got to discover what goes into helping our customers see and look their best.

It was a great opportunity for our teams to share their expertise and make sure we can offer the best advice across the whole Woven experience.
