The third batch of The The Rolltop backpacks is now in progress. We only make one batch a year, so there is space for testing and evolution. We retain 95% of what makes this bag incredible, and refine the rest. We’re constantly working to make the best bags possible, and sell the fewest number possible… because no one needs more. We just need better.

Each Rolltop is hand made to order, and sales are only open for a few days each year. (That time is now.) The pre-order window closes Wed 27 July.

It’s amazing seeing where The Rolltop gets to in actual use. I came across this pic one day by chance, just scrolling my feed.

When I said how happy I was to see him using his Rolltop in this way, he said: “It’s the favourite thing I own. It’s been up many a wainwright this last couple of years, normally just in the rain though.”

My heart is warmed.
