♡ FRIENDS ♡

The latest bears I have created are 3 medium memory bears for 3 friends as keepsakes of their babies clothes. These were a thoughtful Christmas gift from one of their friends 🐻

I have tried to incorporate the favourite pieces of clothing into each bear and make a feature of them. One lady sent a cardigan that she wanted including. So I made it into a waistcoat for the bear to wear 💙 There was a pair of leggings that all the babies had worn, so I incorporated these into all 3 bears on the feet.

♡ SIBLINGS ♡

Here are two medium bears I have recently created from a brother and sister’s baby clothes...🐻

I have tried to incorporate the favourite pieces of clothing into each bear and make a feature of them. Such as the flower pots on the feet and the bird on the ear of the girl bear. There was a muslin cloth that had been used for both children when they were babies, so I incorporated this into both bears. Each bear has an additional item to include as many special items of clothing as possible. The girl bear has a removable skirt made out of a dress and the boy bear has a cushion that has been made out of a babygrow. Love how these bears have turned out 💛

♡ DOUBLE TROUBLE ♡

Here are two bears I have been working on recently...🐻

This medium bear has been created for a lovely lady from her son’s baby clothes, the small bear has been created from the same clothes for her mum.

I have tried to incorporate the ladies favourite pieces of clothing into each bear and make a feature of them. I loved the fluffy star babygrows, I think these have come out really well on the completed bears 🥰

Im Chloe, a vet nurse from Sheffield with a passion for anything crafty. My main hobby away from animals is sewing, although I also love crochet and macrame.
After making a selection of scrub hats for colleagues and kitting my pets out with a selection of adorable collars and bandanas I received so much love for all the items I have created!

♡ SCHOOL UNIFORM ♡

So I’ve had a little break and haven’t posted in a while, but recently I have been working on a memory bear created from a girl’s school uniform. This has been made as a memory of her time at primary school 📚 this bear has been created as a Christmas present, but it is also a great idea for any school leavers!

It is made from her school cardigan, dress, shirt, T-shirt and skirt. I wanted to include as many original features from the clothing as I could. So I used the school logo and buttons from the cardigan, an embroidered butterfly from her T-shirt on the ear and a flower from her shirt on the foot.

I have lots of new bears on order, so watch this space for my latest creations 🐻

I couldn’t wait to show you these bears I have just completed! I am so pleased with how they have come out...

These gorgeous little furry bears have been created as a memory of a loved lady that passed earlier this year 💜

They have been created out of two faux fur gilets that she loved to wear. I used parts of each gilet on both bears, as they complimented each other so well! I even used the lining fabric to make the inner ears and paws, so there was as many elements taken from the fabric as possible.

I hope these bring comfort to the new owners as a lovely way to treasure the ladies memory 🥰

It’s quite hard to get a flat lay of a completed bear 😂 so I thought I would share with you one of my upcoming projects! I will be creating a cushion from this mans shirt 👔 looking forward to trying something a bit different!

Day 4 of 5 day photobomb challenge is sharing a black and white photo...

This is just when I was about to start sewing my first ever bear 🐻 I was so scared it would all go wrong and I wouldn’t be able to do it! Not going to lie there were a few mishaps...but you learn from your mistakes and that’s why practise makes perfect 👌🏼

So glad I challenged myself as I’m loving creating the bears now 💕
