اگر کسی مہنگے برانڈ کو یہ احساس دلانا ہو کہ ان کے کپڑوں پر لگے سخت، موٹے یا اندرونی ٹیگ پروفاؤنڈ آٹسٹک افراد کے لیے کتنی شدید اذیت کا باعث بنتے ہیں، تو بات کیسے کی جائے۔۔۔

چلیں آج اس پر بھی دل کا بوجھ ہلکا کر لوں کیونکہ ہر سیزن میں یہ ایک عجیب سی کوفت کا سبب بنتا ہے۔۔۔
برانڈ کے کپڑے یقیناً اچھے معیار کے نرم مگر لوئر مڈل کلاس کے لئے اچھے خاصےمہنگے بھی ہوتے ہیں، مگر شاید آپ نے کبھی یہ نہیں سوچا ہوگا کہ انہی کپڑوں کے اندر لگے چھوٹے سے ٹیگ بعض پروفاؤنڈ آٹسٹک افراد کے لیے کیسے ناقابلِ برداشت جسمانی تکلیف بن جاتے ہیں۔
وہ کھردرا کپڑا، سخت سلائی، یا گردن سے لگتا ہوا لیبل ان کے حساس اعصاب کو مسلسل اذیت دیتا ہے۔
ہم جیسے والدین نئے کپڑے خریدتے وقت خوش نہیں ہوتے، بلکہ پہلے ہی اس فکر میں ہوتے ہیں کہ ٹیگ کیسے اتاریں گے۔
اکثر ٹیگ اتارتے ہوئے مہنگے کپڑے پھٹ جاتے ہیں، سلائی خراب ہو جاتی ہے یا کپڑے کی خوبصورتی متاثر ہو جاتی ہے۔
اور تب صرف کپڑا نہیں پھٹتا — دل بھی دکھتا ہے، کیونکہ اتنی مہنگی چیز خریدنے کے باوجود ہمارا بچہ اسے آرام سے پہن ہی نہیں سکتا۔

آپ میں سے اکثر لوگ مہنگے برانڈز کے کپڑوں میں فیشن دیکھتے ہیں لیکن میری مجبوری ہے کہ میرا بچہ خاص سوتی فیبرک کے علاوہ کوئی اور کپڑا جسم سے لگا بھی نہیں سکتا اور شرٹ کا رنگ ڈیزائن دیکھوں نہ دیکھوں میں سب سے پہلے اُن کے اندر لگا ہوا ٹیگ دیکھتی ہوں۔
کیونکہ میرے پروفاؤنڈ آٹسٹک بیٹے کے لیے وہ چھوٹا سا لیبل صرف کپڑے کا حصہ نہیں — شدید جسمانی اذیت ہے۔
گردن سے لگتا کھردرا ٹیگ، سخت سلائی، یا اندر ابھرا ہوا لیبل اُس کے حساس اعصاب کو اس حد تک پریشان کرتا ہے کہ وہ نیا لباس پہن ہی نہیں پاتا۔
اور پھر شروع ہوتی ہے ایک اور آزمائش…
بڑے احتیاط سے ٹیگ اتارنے کی کوشش، تاکہ مہنگا کپڑا خراب نہ ہو۔
مگر اکثر جتنی بھی احتیاط کر لوں باقی کپڑے کی سلائی تو ادھڑ سکتی ہے جہاں ٹیگ لگا ہوتا ہے وہاں تو بھئی کپڑا پھٹ جاتا ہے، سلائی کھل جاتی ہے، یا لباس کی شکل بگڑ جاتی ہے۔
لوگ سوچتے ہیں آٹزم صرف communication کا مسئلہ ہے۔
حالانکہ کبھی کبھی ایک چھوٹا سا کپڑے کا ٹیگ بھی کسی autistic فرد کے لیے ناقابلِ برداشت تکلیف بن جاتا ہے۔۔۔۔
کبھی کبھی “tag-free clothing” بھی کسی انسان کو سکون سے سانس لینے کا حق دیتا ہے۔”
آپ لگائیں ٹیگ لیکن شرٹ کے نچلے حصے پر لگا لیں یا ایسا میٹیریل استعمال کر لیں جو کپڑا خراب کئے بغیر آرام سے اتر جائے۔۔۔
ویسے میری یہ درخواست تو شاید ہی متعلقہ لوگوں تک پہنچے لیکن کہنے سے دل کا بوجھ تو ہلکا ہو ہی جائے گا یا کوئی ٹوٹکہ ہی ہوسکتا ہے معلوم ہو جائے کہ ایسے شرٹ خراب نہ ہو۔۔
