In the workshop today I discover a TUCKER❗️

Unwrapping an item from the latest selection of NEW, OLD Stock electrical fittings to arrive for investigation.
This cast iron box, weighs in at a hefty 2.4kg and measures 148mm x 148mm x 48mm.

Underneath the paper wrapping and card protection there is a red "jewel" prismatic lens for the indicator light 💡

The stamp inside indicates it was produced by J.H. Tucker & Co., an electrical accessory manufacturer founded in Birmingham in 1892. The company was later acquired by Midland Electric Manufacturing Co. (MEM) in the 1960’s

Unlikely to meet current electrical safety regulations.If you intend to use it, it should be thoroughly inspected by a qualified professional . A decorative collectible item.
