When Joanie was 1 and my maternity leave ended, the numbers just didn’t add up — nursery would’ve cost more than I earned. So I didn’t go back to work. Those four years together were the most precious time. Then she started school, and everything shifted. I grieved that freedom we had — that time that was just ours.

That’s exactly why Toddler Sense exists. I know firsthand how important it is to carve out that one special thing you do together. Once they hit school age, everything changes — and that one-on-one time looks so different.

☔ Umbrellas at the ready — this week we say goodbye to our very first Toddler Sense Gateshead graduates 💛

These special little ones have been here since day one, and now they’re off to nursery — so fair warning: the floodgates are absolutely opening. I’ve already decided no mascara this week because there’s truly no point 😭

Every single little one who walks through my door, and every grown-up who brings them, is part of our community and holds such a special place in my heart. Thank you for supporting me, for supporting this little business — you are what makes it what it is. We’re still growing, still early days, but these first graduates have set the most beautiful standard for joy, consistency, and connection. I love you all so much.
