Fan Merch came to life at the end of the 2014 / 2015 hockey season when, brought together by a love of the Braehead Clan, two friends started to brainstorm… And thus, Fan Merch was born. Fed up of never being able to afford official club merchandise and struggling to find good fits, we realised we couldn’t be alone in our predicament. Inspired by the passion of our fel

low hockey fans, Fan Merch aims to create unique designs in a wide size range, all while keeping our products affordable for fans. What makes Fan Merch different from other hockey apparel brands? Fan Merch was created by our love of hockey, so we want to make sure we always give back to the sport we love and the people who support us. That’s why at the end of every month, Fan Merch will donate 10% of profits to Scottish based charities and grass roots ice hockey clubs. As well as supporting your team on the ice, you’ll be supporting future ice hockey talent and national charity organisations. At Fan Merch we aim to bring you as many original designs in your favourite team’s colours through the season. We have been keeping quiet the past few weeks as we work on evolving Fanmerch into something new in the hockey community.

Our aim will still be to provide alternate merchandise for hockey fans at fair prices. However we feel the "market" has become over saturated in recent months and this has prevented us from generating appropriate levels of income. That would then have allowed us to better support our charitable partners.

In order to change this we will be doing one off designs that would need backed by a specific number of people before they are manufactured. We will also be planning design competitions allowing you the fans to bring ideas to life and again using a "backing" method to send those designs to print.

As well as maintaining our blog with the hopes of bringing in guest writers and contributors.

This requires a lot of organisation and preparation, which in turn requires a lot of time something we are short of just now. We hope to get the puck moving again with Fanmerch.
