I bought my dress from Eleganza and was recommended KRBA for the tailoring. It’s such a scary decision leaving this dress you’ve spent thousands on in someone else’s hands to cut up and sew together, but I felt really relaxed from the first meeting with the girls here. I had my first fitting and they answered all my questions and made me feel so confident that everything would work out. When I went back for my second fitting I couldn’t believe how amazing it fit, like it was made just for me! The girls were so helpful, and showed me how to pack my dress for travel, and spoke me through how to roll my veil for the box and also the steaming process. I couldn’t have had a better experience from start to end and they will see me again shortly for dry cleaning and repair after a crazy day! X

I used Karen Rotchford Alterations for my two wedding dresses and had an amazing experience. All the women were so lovely and welcoming and made me feel so at ease during my appointments. They listened to exactly what I wanted, while offering their professional opinion and made sure I was always happy with every decision made. My wedding was abroad in Mallorca and they gave me great advice on how best to get my dresses over and what to do with them once I had arrived.

We’ve had so many brides contact us recently after being told their dress “can’t be altered” or that it can only be altered by two sizes.

Please don’t let that put you off your dream dress.

In our experience, there are very few limits when your gown is in the hands of a specialist bridal dressmaker. We’ve never come across a wedding dress that we couldn’t alter and we’re passionate about finding the best solution for every single bride.

Every gown is different, every alteration is different and what may seem impossible to some can often be achieved with the right bridal expertise.

If you’ve been told “it can’t be done”, we’d always encourage you to get a second opinion before saying no to the dress you love.
