Make a piped upholstered cylinder pouffe. We provide the base and everything required.
You can bring the fabric of your choice. We highly recommend your fabric is at least 75% natural fibres. Cotton/linen/wool/viscose.
Leave the day with a pouffe ready to enhance your home.

I have developed a 3 day introduction course. We will build on the foundations but make to professional finishes rather than ‘DIY’ quality.
Day 1- Make a cushion with invisible zip
Day 2- Make a lined curtain with pencil pleat tape
Day 3- Make a lined roman blind with no visible stitching.

This course is suitable for ALL levels, including complete beginners.

The details make the difference. I had a lovely day on Monday teaching integrated returns for Roman blinds, using Justine’s method — The secret to a flawless outside-mount Roman blind that hugs the wall with zero light gaps. A reasonably quick detail, huge visual payoff. 🪡✨

Behind the scenes at this weekend’s Roman blind course! Each wonderful student created both a lined and an interlined Roman blind, and even added trim using a professional faux hem technique.

The studio was full of laughter, support and encouragement — a truly fabulous weekend.

📐 Standard stack or cascade stack — which one’s right for your window?

Both pull your Roman blind up out of the way, but they sit differently once raised:
🔹 Standard stack — folds sit flat and even, sitting slightly below the headrail
🔹 Cascade stack — folds step down in a soft, layered cascade for a more tailored look

Installation next Thursday. I will post the installation plus talk about the time and costings of a project like this…… did you know, an online retailer was double my quote?!😳🫣 Not only that, their quote included only a standard track and the Roman blind wasn’t going to be interlined.
