What an end to a great year for Festoon. My biggest bespoke garland order to date! 7 metres of garland absolutely chock full of colourful balls. In fact it took 350 felt balls to make!
I love how it came out! This tree belongs to the amazing talent behind who I was lucky enough to be next to for most of the market this weekend and who was largely responsible for the huge amount of laughter coming from our spot in the market.
I’ve had so much fun at all the markets I’ve done in the last few months and am grateful for all the support on THANK YOU.
I’m now taking a break over Christmas and the New Year. So a very Merry Christmas to you all - I hope you have a blast 🎄🍾🥳🎅

It was around this time a couple of years ago I was crazily making felt candy canes like a disorganised elf on Christmas Eve. Why? Because I had a great big order from for the wreath making gift box. Still can’t quite believe something I created ended up in these!
I made a whole load more of these candy canes last night ready for the market on tomorrow from 10am. Come down and treat yourself to some, they’re part of my Christmas decorations pick ‘n’ mix

It’s nearly time to get the advent calendars out!

Handmade from 100% cotton with a retro Santa print. The double sided flags have little pockets to pop chocolates, gifts or notes in.

Loving brunch event today! Not only is it an incredible space for mums to come together with their little ones. But they even put on childcare so it means mums can use both hands to eat 🙌 and Isla can come to work with me (I’ve been invited to have a stall here!).
Venue is gorgeous too! We’re in Haslemere, I’ll definitely be back here!

Autumn is my favourite season, and with it well underway it means pumpkins are everywhere, including in my shop!
You can order your own bespoke pumpkin garland now. These are so cute - or why not make a Halloween themed one?! You can choose from nearly 40 different felt ball colours to go with the orange pumpkins. They're all 100% wool too.
The ready made ones I sold craft fair earlier in the month were a huge hit! Some were destined for autumn displays on mantelpieces, others were being hung around the house.

Welcome to Festoon, the home of handcrafted creations for life’s celebrations.
I’m Jen. I love coffee, cocktails and making beautiful things that you can treasure and use time and again. Things that become part of your home, celebrations and family traditions.
Family plays a big part in Festoon. It started as a collaboration between my sister, Jac, and I and we opened Festoon together in June 2019. Fast forward a few months and I took over the business solo as Jac’s family priorities changed. She’s still on hand though to share cake and sound advice!
My Mum bought me my first sewing machine and taught me to quilt and sew. And I studied Textiles and Art at school.
I’m now Mum to my little boy, Archie, and he’s often my inspiration for what to make. I fell in love with felt ball garlands after making a rainbow one for his welcome to the world party. It was so eye catching and so many people asked me about it I knew I had to make more. There’s not an occasion they don’t seem fit for and they’re so versatile too! The garland is now hanging in his bedroom.
With Archie in mind, the 1st Birthday In A Box was born. It was actually one of the original ideas behind Festoon. It’s a beautiful set of coordinated and handmade fabric decorations. Everything can be reused too, something that’s really important to me.
I’m passionate about the environment and am as eco-friendly as I can be. Which is why I use thoughtfully sourced materials, like 100% wool felt balls and bio-degradable or recyclable packaging.
