BACK-TO-BACK CHAMPIONS! 🏆

Our Year 7/8 girls’ football team have done it again — finishing the season undefeated and becoming South East Sussex Schools District League Champions for the second year running!

The girls sealed the title with an incredible 4–1 win over Claverham in yesterday’s title decider.

After going behind early on, Amelia calmly brought us level before half-time, and then Rose produced a stunning hat-trick to secure the victory and crown Team Alexandra champions once again.

An unbeaten season featuring fantastic wins against St Richards, St Leonard’s, Hastings and Claverham, what an achievement!

We are so proud of this talented team and everything they have accomplished this season!

A little introduction as we begin a new chapter for Jimmis Cafe in Bexhill Old Town, becoming Ruby’s Bistro 💛

I’m Claire, and I’m so excited to be taking on this lovely café in the heart of Bexhill Old Town and beginning a new chapter as Ruby’s Bistro. I’ve chosen this name because Ruby was my childhood nickname, and it’s still what a couple of my siblings call me to this day.

With me in the photo is my husband Ed, our son Jack, his fiancée Jess, and our daughter Paige. You may see them popping in and helping out from time to time, but they won’t be here full time, this is very much my new venture, with plenty of family support behind the scenes.

I’m also pleased to say Yalda and Archie will be staying on from the previous team. They’re currently enjoying a couple of very well deserved weeks off before reopening, and I’m really looking forward to working alongside them when we open our doors again.

We’ll be changing a few things and adding our own little touches, while keeping the same warm and welcoming vibe that everyone has always loved. I can’t wait to welcome you all in soon to Ruby’s Bistro ☕✨
