✨ Antique Oak Writing Desk Decorated for Use by The Scottish Opera ✨

A wonderfully characterful oak writing table, later adapted and scenically decorated for use by Scottish Opera in one of their productions.

Beneath the theatrical dark-painted and gilt finish, areas of the original oak remain visible, particularly around the drawers and edges, revealing the earlier furniture beneath. The desk has subsequently acquired a deep red writing surface, gilt foliate decoration and highlighted architectural detailing, giving it the dramatic appearance required for stage use.

A striking piece with theatrical presence and would look great in the right setting ~ £135.00

Please note ~ the handles are broke and would benefit from being replaced.
