A matching pair of mahogany bedside chests C.1970's. Each with three bow-front drawers, brass ring handles and elegant Queen Anne style legs.

They have a rich, deep polished mahogany finish with attractive grain to the tops and drawer fronts. The bowed drawer fronts and shaped legs give a traditional look. A very decorative and practical pair — classic in style, but will fit in with any interior.

Ideal as bedside tables, lamp tables or placed either side of a sofa ~ £195.00 the pair.

A stylish vintage drinks trolley, dating to around the 1970's, with a lovely gold-tone metal frame and rich brown coloured shelves.

The trolley has two tiers, shaped handles at either side and sits on castor wheels. The warm brass-style frame works beautifully against the darker glossy shelves.

Perfectly styled with decanters, glasses, bottles, books or even as a small side table in a living room or dining space ~ £40.00

A lovely English-made Wellington chest by Jaycee Furniture daring around the 1970's, full of traditional detail and character.

This chest has four smaller drawers over four long drawers, working locking side columns with key, carved edging, turned column detail and a protective glass top. Each drawer is finished with brass circular pull handles.

A really handsome storage piece that would work beautifully in a bedroom, hallway or living space ~ £160.00

This little lot is just a small selection of the artwork currently available in the shop, with pieces dating from the late Victorian period right through to around the 1970s.

There’s a lovely mix of styles, sizes and subjects — from soft landscapes and traditional portraits to florals, coastal scenes and decorative framed pieces. Each one has its own character and charm.

Artwork is such an easy way to add warmth and personality to a room, whether you’re looking for one statement piece, something small for a quiet corner, or a few pieces to build a gallery wall.

✨ Good evening.....

This gorgeous oil on canvas is the only item I unloaded from the van today. I have hurt my back again 😢 hopefully it is feeling better tomorrow!

🔶 "Summers Day on the Beach" ~ oil on canvas presented in a gilt frame and signed Hanson. It is a large painting measuring 141cm X 80cm ~ £145.00

Available to view in the shop tomorrow. Open 11am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday.

It's been a busy day here at Holytown Antiques sourcing lots of fabulous new stock. This little lot has been dropped off at the shop and I am heading out tomorrow morning before opening to collect a van load with even more arriving on Monday.

A lovely little rustic child’s chair with a beautifully timeworn finish and plenty of natural character dating back to the early 20th century.

This piece has a simple country feel, with a shaped wooden seat, ladder-style back and stretchered base. The worn surface, soft aged wood and traces of old paint give it that wonderfully relaxed farmhouse look — the kind of piece that adds instant charm to a corner.

Perfectly styled with books, a teddy bear or dried flowers or used simply as a decorative accent. Perfect in cottage-style / farmhouse interior ~ £26.00
