A tulle wedding sign is more than just a welcome — it’s part of your celebration’s story.

It may be a little more of an investment than some options, but here’s why my couples fall in love with them…

🪡 Made to be kept – Embroidered rather than printed, each stitch is created to last for generations.
🎨 Designed with intention – Every element is personalised to you — from lettering to layout — so it becomes a true reflection of your style.
💫 Light, airy, and full of movement – The beauty of tulle and embroidery together creates an elegant, tactile detail that draws guests in.
🏡 A lasting memento – After the wedding, it transforms into an heirloom you can frame or display at home as a reminder of your day.

It’s décor with meaning, created to be part of your memories long after the last dance.

➡️ If you’re dreaming of a bespoke embroidered sign, let’s create something that feels uniquely yours.

New York, meet Rebecca Anne Designs. 🤍

For several years, it has been a dream of mine to have my embroidered veils represented in New York.

Outside the UK, the US is home to my largest community of brides, and I have had the privilege of creating deeply personal veils for so many of you across the Atlantic. I am therefore incredibly excited to share that a selection of my pieces can now be experienced in person at .

Gene has created a beautiful New York boutique centred around thoughtfully curated European designers, couture craftsmanship and modern, individual bridal fashion. Her distinctive collection and personal, appointment-led approach feel like such a natural home for my work.

After my veils were recently styled alongside pieces from Liza Ray Bridal by , Gene discovered my work and fell in love with the bespoke nature of my designs. We arranged a Zoom call, immediately clicked, and it quickly became clear that this collaboration felt right.

The veils have been in New York for less than a week, and Gene is already introducing brides to me. It feels like the most wonderful beginning.

For New York brides who have admired my work online but wanted to experience the embroidery, tulle and intricate detailing in person, appointments are now available at Liza Ray Bridal.

The boutique is appointment-only, and Gene can also arrange a dedicated veil appointment for brides who have already found their dress elsewhere but would specifically love to discover the Rebecca Anne Designs collection.

Designed and made in Devon. Now represented in New York. 🤍

“Rebecca brought my vision to life even better than I could have imagined.”

That sentence has stayed with me since Hollie left her lovely review.

Because designing a personalised wedding veil is rarely about arriving with every detail already decided.

It is about beginning with the things that matter most and shaping them into something that feels completely your own.

For Hollie, that meant her initials, wedding date and meaningful flowers, all brought together in one beautifully considered design.

Personal enough to tell their story.

Subtle enough to sit naturally alongside her dress.

And special enough to become something she can cherish long after the wedding day.

Knowing Hollie loved both the finished veil and the experience of designing it means so much to me.

Thank you for trusting me to bring your vision to life, Hollie 🤍

It's FAQ Friday and have you ever wondered why I prefer to deliver your bespoke veil 6-10 weeks before the wedding? 💍

The bespoke process is a special journey from the initial enquiry all the way until you place your veil in your hair on your wedding morning. Every part of wedding planning should be memorable and stress-free. You've invested in a bespoke veil that you've designed in collaboration with me, so why accept delivery of it just a week or two before the wedding amidst all the last-minute prep?

I want you to experience the joy of seeing your finished bridal look well before the big day, to see for yourself how beautifully your veil complements your dress, giving you a moment to truly appreciate and get excited about bringing it all together again on your wedding day.

After designing every detail together, I want you to see it before everyone else does. Your final dress fittings are such a private and cherished moment. During my years as a bridal stylist and through my own wedding planning, I realised just how special these moments are.

Let's make your journey to the aisle as smooth and joyful as possible.

You can read more about the origins of my love for veils in the journal entry on my blog: Should I Wear a Veil at my Wedding?

It’s been a while since I properly introduced myself, and with so many new faces here, it feels like the perfect time to say hello 👋

🖤 I’m Rebecca - founder, designer, and embroiderer behind Rebecca Anne Designs. After more than a decade in bridal, I’ve built my studio around one focus: creating embroidered veils designed with intention, for brides who value meaning as much as beauty.

🖤 From my Devon studio, every embroidered veil begins with a bespoke hand-drawn sketch, often inspired by florals, poetry, or the little details that make your story yours. Each piece is then digitised and embroidered with precision, using modern needlework to bring your ideas to life in thread.

🖤 My favourite part of what I do? The connection. I work with brides all over the world, translating memories, initials, vows, and artwork into embroidery that becomes part of their day.

🖤 Over the years, I’ve been affectionately dubbed the “Queen of Veils”, but at heart, I’m just someone who adores the artistry, the process, and the privilege of helping brides feel completely themselves on their wedding day.

Outside the studio, you’ll usually find me with my husband Jeremy cooking in the kitchen, out walking the Somerset hills, or finding our next Netflix series to binge and obsess over (➡️ feel free to share your current faves in the comments!)

💌 If you’re dreaming of a bespoke embroidered veil, I’d love to create something that feels like you. Head to my contact page to start your veil journey

Some of these things might seem small...

Hand-cutting every veil.

Testing every embroidery design.

Finishing each veil by hand.

Packing every order myself.

But they're the details that turn a piece of tulle into something deeply personal.

When you choose bespoke, you're not just choosing the finished veil.

You're choosing everything that happened before it.

There’s something so effortlessly romantic about sheer tulle signage — it softens the scene, moves gently in the light, and feels every bit as considered as the rest of your wedding styling.

This is one of my sample designs, created to showcase just how beautiful a table plan can be when embroidered onto sheer tulle. The airy backdrop lets the beauty of your venue shine through, while delicate embroidery adds depth and detail you can see up close.

Each piece is made to last — an heirloom you can keep long after the day, perhaps hung in your home as a reminder of everyone who shared it with you.

From table plans to welcome signs and ceremony backdrops, each design is bespoke, with every element — words, layout, and florals — tailored to you.

✨ If you’re dreaming of signage that feels as personal and stylish as the rest of your wedding day, let’s talk about creating something you’ll treasure long after the last dance.

Monday Myth Part 13: Long veils only suit grand venues.

Somewhere along the way, many brides are given the impression that a long wedding veil is only for stately homes, cathedral aisles or grand celebrations.

I don't believe that's true.

A long veil isn't about the size of your venue. It's about the feeling it gives you.

The moment it catches the breeze. The way it trails behind you. The photographs you'll look back on for years to come. There is something undeniably bridal about a long veil, wherever you're getting married.

I've seen long veils worn beautifully in gardens, vineyards, intimate country houses, modern venues and everything in between.

So if you've always imagined yourself wearing a long veil, don't let your venue be the reason you talk yourself out of it.

You only get to wear a wedding veil once.

If you've always imagined a veil that feels unmistakably yours, book a complimentary design call via my website and let's begin designing it together.

“Honestly, it was my favourite detail across the whole wedding weekend.”

That sentence has stayed with me ever since Laura left her lovely review.

Not simply because it is an incredible thing to hear.

Because this veil carried something no other wedding detail could.

A note written by her late mother from when she and her husband became engaged, preserved in her handwriting and embroidered into the veil she would wear on her wedding day.

She contacted me very close to the wedding, with just enough time to create something so meaningful.

We worked closely through every detail, from translating her mother’s handwriting into embroidery to creating a sample stitch, so she could feel completely confident in the final design.

The finished veil brought so many people to tears on the day.

But what means the most is knowing that it is now hers to keep for life: a deeply personal piece holding her mother’s words and a part of her story.

Thank you for trusting me with something so precious, Laura🤍

When I say I don’t do coloured embroidery, I mean you won’t find me creating multi-coloured veils — but a single, striking hue? I’m all in.

This deep red rose design is a perfect example — bold, romantic, and a beautiful contrast against soft ivory tulle. I especially love it for winter weddings, where rich tones feel all the more opulent and seasonally fitting.

If you’re still searching for the perfect veil for your 2026 winter wedding, I have a few spaces left in my diary… shall we make one of them yours? Simply head to the contact page on my website to get the conversation started.
