This is such a cute way to finish your hems on knit sewing patterns!

You can do this on both an overlocker machine and a regular sewing machine but to be honest, I prefer my regular machine.

Stretching the fabric in both directions while sewing creates a roll on the raw edge and the zigzag stitch sews this rolled edge.

I set my zigzag to a wide width like 7mm and depth of 1mm and make sure that the right side of the zigzag falls off the fabric.

A whole year has gone by since the launch of the Poppy pattern! And I am still obsessed with watching these pattern testers twirl around in their dresses 💃🏻

Turns out if you ask a bunch of grown women to twirl around in their new Poppy make they’re more than happy to oblige! 💃🏻❤️

Every person who has made the Poppy has given pretty much the same feedback… this sewing pattern has given them confidence and has made them feel GOOD about themselves 🥹
