Could anyone help our local baby bank?

Is anyone feeling generous and able to help a family in need in Kirklees? We do understand this is a big ask, but we'll never know unless we try .....

Despite our many appeals, we are still desperately in need of double prams suitable for a newborn and an older sibling. We currently have families waiting, and sadly we do not have enough prams to meet the ever increasing demand.

We are asking if any of our amazing supporters would be willing to purchase one of these prams from our Amazon Wishlist.(one of our featured posts). We've also included the link below. At the moment they are just £116.10 when you apply the voucher price, and they will be delivered directly to the baby bank. And they are perfect for our families.

If we had the funds, we would buy them ourselves — but right now we simply can’t keep up with the growing need.

Something a little different here!

Recently I fell into the world of keeping pet spiders! I know, random, right? I have two of them! One of them is a phidippus regius (or a regal jumping spider) called Pebble, and the other one is a phidippus audax (bold jumping spider) called Wolf. They've been getting a good bit of attention over on TikTok with their antics () 😂

Anyway, I digress.. I have created this little Web Diary for keepers to track their daily care, husbandry, behaviours and moulting. I really like something physical to use for things like this, and wondered if other spider keepers would also benefit from it!

There’s nothing better than a slow, cozy morning 🥰📚

We’ve been all snuggled up watching some of our favourite Julia Donaldson stories on . So far today we’ve watched Stick Man, The Scarecrows’ Wedding, and now The Gruffalo… and I think the kids would happily watch them on repeat all day! 🐭🌲✨

There’s just something so magical about these stories that never gets old, no matter how many times you read or watch them ❤️

A little nod to Julia Donaldson for creating such a rich, imaginative world that so many of our children get to grow up in – it’s truly something special in the land of children's literature 💫
