Back in Kent recently for more pond maintenance.
Next up a little story FYI…….
Had a customer who needed my help! This customer declined my spring visit earlier in the year, as his pond was fine at the time or so he thought! He then later discovered he had a problem, he took the decision to seek alternative help as he thought I was still suffering with my personal health. He had out what he believed to be a professional person from a well known Japanese Koi shop who diagnosed his Oase compact drum fault to be a broken high pressure pump! For anyone unfamiliar this is the one that sits in the bottom of the drum chamber and produces the water out the spray nozzles on demand, again for anyone that isn’t familiar these pumps are expensive to replace and are circa £1000 for replacement part!
After this diagnosis the customer felt it was in his best interest to pick up the phone to me, and I’m so pleased he did! I arranged a visit and went prepared for the worst.
Within a very short space of time being on site and following a thorough fault finding process I quickly discovered what the actual problem was and it definitely was not a broken high pressure pump!
As you can imagine the customer was over the moon when I called him and gave him the good news!
His pond was back up and running the same day!
Sadly this is not the first time recently I’ve had a customer been let down by a so called reputable experienced Japanese Koi shop
I may not be the cheapest, but I will always work hard for my customers to make sure they get the best service. I also can’t stress enough the benefits of regular maintenance on your ponds.
So please do get in touch with your pond needs!
