I had the best childhood growing up with ponies, and that’s why I started The Pretty Pony Club. 🤍
I started riding when I was five, just hacking around at my local riding school. Then, when I was nine, I moved to a school with horses.
Every break time we’d race to the yard just to groom them, give them a cuddle and check the riding board to see who we’d be lucky enough to ride that week.
When I was twelve, I got my very first pony.
I still remember the date. I still remember every moment she stepped off the lorry.
She wasn’t the easiest pony. She loved a spectacular rear! But it never crossed my mind to sell her.
I just knew I had to learn to ride her.
And eventually, I did.
Every horse I’ve loved since has shaped who I am.
They’ve taught me discipline, resilience, patience, responsibility, confidence and unconditional love. They’ve celebrated with me, humbled me and picked me up when I needed them most.
Looking back, I realise that growing up with horses wasn’t just my hobby—it became part of who I am.
That’s why I created The Pretty Pony Club.
It’s a celebration of pony childhood, of muddy boots, early mornings, lifelong friendships, and all the beautiful memories that horses give us.
Because childhood goes by so quickly.
But the memories last forever.
