Little dancing dudes or just a pair of silly worms? 🤔

Here's a few pics of the process of making them 😌

📸 Pic 2: This is fresh out of the kiln! An almost 2 hour firing at over 800c to turn these babies into solid silver 😍

📸 Pic 3: First thing to do once they're out of the kiln is to give them a clean with a brass brush and some soap. This gets rid of the white exterior and shows off the silver so they're ready to work with

📸 Pic 4: After soldering on the bails and giving them a good sanding and polish up, they then get dipped in a patina to make them black, but they won't stay black...

📸 Pic 5: They are given a final polish to remove the patina from the parts I want to be highlights. The patina stays in the delicate grooves giving the little guys more character 🪱
